Determining the minimum unit of land
In areas where the Government of Nepal has implemented land fragmentation control and Chaklabandi program, land may not be fragmented into a smaller unit than the following:- (a) 350 square meters in agricultural areas of Terai and Inner Madhesh, (b) Urban areas of Terai and Inner Madhesh , 85 square meters in residential and commercial areas, (c) 250 square meters in agricultural areas within the valley, (d) 80 square meters in urban areas within the valley, (e) 125 square meters in agricultural areas of other hilly provinces, (f) urban areas of hilly provinces. 80 square meters,
